海藻などの海洋生物に含まれる脂溶性成分、特にカロテノイドについて、慢性炎症疾患に対する発症予防効果に関する研究を行っています。HPLCやLC-MS等の分析機器を使った化合物の同定や、細胞実験による活性評価を通して、その作用メカニズム解明を目指しています。熱情を持って粘り強く取り組み、未だ誰も知り得ぬ生命の神秘の一端をともに解き明かしましょう。
