Japanese classes

Japanese language classes are offered during the fall and spring semesters. All international students currently enrolled at Hokudai can participate. The classes are free.

Course information

Class levels:
1. Introduction: Hiragana, katagana, speaking, grammar, kanji and vocabulary
2. Beginner: Speaking, grammar, kanji, and vocabulary
3. Intermediate: Speaking, grammar, kanji, and vocabulary
4. Preparation for the JLPT Exam – Level N2: Vocabulary, reading, listening, and practice exams
5. Preparation for the JLPT Exam – Level N1: Vocabulary, reading, listening, and practice exams
