August 21, 2017, the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences, Hokkaido University (FFS-HU) concluded the academic exchange agreement with the College of Fisheries, Huazhong Agricultural University (CF-HZAU), People&#8217;s Republic of China. \u00a0Mr. Zhang Shaodong (Secretary of the party committee, CA-HZAU), Dr. Wan Weimin (Dean, CF-HZAU), Dr. Gao Jian (Associate Professor, CA-HZAU), Dr. Hajime Yasui (Dean, FFS-HU), Dr. Nobuo Kimura (Vice-Dean, FFS-HU), Dr. Hisashi Imamura (Chair of International Affairs, FFS-HU) and others were attended the ceremony.\u00a0 Huazhong Agricultural University is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, People&#8217;s Republic of China.\u00a0 Hubei area has rich water resources, such as the Chang Jiang (Yangtze River), Han Jian (Han River), and Honghu (Hong lake) and is the central region of freshwater fish fisheries and aquaculture production in China.\u00a0 The CF-HZAU has supported fisheries and aquaculture industries in this area for a long time with its cutting-edge scientific research and education.\u00a0 Under the agreement, the FFS-HU and the CF-HZAU will strongly forward the collaborative research and education, which will trigger further internationalization of both
